anyone lower a CGT ?
Only thing you would improve are scratches in the frontlip and the floor panel. A friend of me had the problem last summer, when he arrived at roadworks in the middle of Munich. The car was to low (works height) to get it down the edge which was there, because they removed the upper level of the street. He had to backup, which ended in the mid of chaos for nearly complete downtown Munich. At works standard you have to plan routes with as less problem roads as possible so you can imagine what you have to do after you lower that down.
RUF offers it for CGT and GT2. Its a kind of air-hydraulic you can compare it with the system from Lamborghini for the Murcielago.
Khalid I never mentioned "in-car" adjustability - i was talkign about adjusting the collars on the stock suspension to alter the height. I would assume that if porsche put adjsutable suspension on the gt2, they would have put an adjustable system on the CGT since it is double the price.

there is a kit from porsche to raise the ride height of the cgt. Basically longer pushrods for the dampers and changing the spring preload.

im guessing its because like the gt3 etc, the ride height adjustability is there to allow exact corner balancing and not intended to be used to noticeably change the cars overall height in any direction. theres upper and lower limits specified for each corner which allow balancing to take place and keep the car within height specs.
in order to change the height then adjustment of the suspension components would generally be a requirement hence the kit on offer

To answer the original questions, yes people have adjusted the height of their CGT to go lower.
From the factory, the CGT does not come with hydraulic lift suspension like Lamborghini late model cars. However, the CGT does have adjustable coilover suspension which would allow raising or lowering the height of the car if necessary.
KW offers a hydraulic lift suspension solution for the CGT(aftermarket).

If you jack the suspension up or slam it all the way to the ground without the proper parts and ignore the factory recommendations, the handling of the car will be severely compromised since you're placing the damper outside its proper operating range and pushing the control-arm beyond its effective geometry.
