Sportec Carrera GT

The first-class make still better - the SPORTEC philosophy comes also with the Porsche Carrera GT to carries. The first tests of the dream car on the SPORTEC test stand show that the GT engines are located well in the fodder. With a odometer reading of only 1500 km the Porsche flagship reaches approximately 600PS and 610 Nm torque. Now the development begins with the improving of the tuning of engine electronics. Subsequently, the SPORTEC specialist examines the engine periphery for possible Optimierungspotenzial. Two performance levels, which are to bring increased output between 10 and 20 per cent, are planned. With smaller optical modifications also the exterior is continued to perfect. With brakes and chassis any modifications are unnecessary in the series.

THINK ABOUT IT. Turbocharged cars or Supercharged cars can have significant gains given more boost. NA normally aspirated cars can only improve inlet & outlet breathing for small resonable gains.

Since the Carrera GT is NON TURBO..............gains will be small. The most logical modification would be a Catalytic converter testpipes. Give 620HP and all that resultant airflow/fuel to support 600+HP catbypass pipes could add +30HP. It will be interesting ...................takes ***** to modify a NA $500K

You can get more power out of a GT2 or FORD GT .

Could you imagine the insanity when someone TURBOS the Carrera GT................I bet that some wacko does just that in under 6 months.

Instead of the wooden shift ****, a carbon fiber version can be ordered from the factory. I've seen it in the flesh, and it looks much better!

Greetings,

nothing is ever perfect. Most people would probably say the same about the 996TT but there is always room for improvement

Do any of you guys realize the historical significance of the wooden shifter in the CGT?

It's a throwback to the balsa wood shifters of the famous Porsche race cars.

It's about pedigree, NOT BLING BLING.
