Updated GT3 RS - Spy Shots

Fellas, I apologize if this is a repost.

http://www.zerotohundred.com/2009/au...-rs/#more-6038

With the coupe, cabrio, targa and turbo variants of the latest Porsche 911 already out on the road, Zuffenhausen is preparing similar updates for its flyweight road rocket, the GT3 RS.The new GT3 RS was snapped in the French mountains were it was testing alongside the current model.

Cosmetic changes, in typical Zuffenhausen fashion, have been limited and the car will retain its “GT3 RS” side decals, coloured wheels, decorative strip and side mirrors finished in contrasting paint. Also, look out for the imposing rear wing endplates and race-ready roll cage.

RS’s weight-saving components will include a polycarbonate rear window, and carbon fiber bonnet and rear wing.

Once again, the 3.6-litre flat-six, which it shares with the GT3, will be required to pound out 410hp. This will propel the car to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds before it goes on to hit a top speed of 310 km/h.

The same here, not so sure about the new engine and looks. right now I am leaning towards pulling my deposit and trade my GT3 in for an RS, but I will wait to see what the next RS will be.

From what I can see the looks are not as nice as the current one, a bit aprehensive about new technology and go beat on it on the track like I do and it needs to be lighter... More torque would be nice though..

I'd need more/clearer pictures of the new front bumper before I completely decided if I like the old front bumper better than the new one.

The current GT3's look more aggressive, no?

Looks really good if you ask me. But that may have something to do with Audi having successfully convinced me that LED's look good up front.
