So for some reason the battery wasn't holding a charge on the gt3, and i thought there may have been a short on it. Bring her in to the dealer and they said they would take a look, turns out it had a recall on some pump so i left it for the weekend. Get a call monday and they tell me it needs a new battery and its not under warrantee, and they want $450 to put in a new one! I went down picked up the car, had them jump it and got the same battery put in for far less elsewhere. I can not believe how much they tried to rip me off, to top it off they left my baby outside in the poring rain all weekend . It was spotless when i brought it there, Guess its off to detailing again later on.

I had replaced two factory battery and they are junk! The parts manager hint me to choose the InterState battery (cheaper) than the Porsche factory one. Sorry to say it Porsche sticker on a junk battery!

Interstate about 140 bucks.... for the correct size / capacity battery. I am wondering if the N1-N2-N3 tire spec is just another one of these moneymakers....

It was a Wet Deka Battery 200. I'm sure the N1 is a money maker. I just put on Super Sports. I'm interested to see what happens to the price once they get the N1 spec.

I had to replace a battery last year and my service tech told me not to buy the Porsche battery as they didn't last as long. He installed a different battery and, I believe, the cost was $295 installed. Never had another issue. I would chat with the service department about your expectation that the car should look at least as good when it comes home as it did when it got there. My dealership makes sure the car is vacuumed and wiped down prior to delivery.
