Change or not, RS 3.8 or GT2

Hi, I got a GT2 that I love, but was looking maybe to change for an RS 3.8 since the 4.0 is out of reach !!
I do track a lot, and maybe low end the RS would pull better, sadly I couldn't try one yet !
I was also thinking that resale value of an RS would go down more then a GT2 ?
What do you guys think ?

Thanks

The GT2 is faster and more power everywhere but the RS is better and more fun perhaps for the track? The Sound is different, RS edgier, harder.

GT2 more understated the RS screams CUP car..

The exhaust on the GT3s is worth the price of admission.

Thanks, did find some gt2 vs rs but the search in the forum is not good, google found it on this forum, got about half-half, will need to try one and figure it myself I reckon !
And if had the money, I would go for a 4.0 RS anytime

I believe that the GT2 has much more torque low than a 3.8 RS does. I have a non-RS 3.8L GT3 and below 4000 or 4500 it just does not pull much.
The RS is geared lower than mine so that would help but still believe the GT2 would rule in that area.
I don't track GT2 pricing but the 3.8 RS pricing is up probably 15 to 20 % in that last year or so.

I actually would keep the GT2. The power on the GT2 is so intoxicating.

If it's the sound that holding ya back do what I did...put a GMG exhaust on the GT2
Not quite the raspiness of the GT3 but a lot better than stock

The GT2 drives comparably with the GT3's on the track but IS faster when it straightens out. Power after 2500(!) rpm is unbelievable!!!!

...ahem...I am not associated with GMG...
