My new GT3 RS...from down under
I've been lurking here for years but I now finally have my first Porsche. A 997.2 GT3 RS. I have come out of a heavily modified 2011 GTR.
I purchased from a dealer with only 4000 miles. Only mod on the car is the Sharkwerks muffler bypass.
The car didn't have cup holders so I had the dealer fit. I have just noticed that the original carbon strip with the 'RS 3.8' decal is not longer there.
Looking at the CF strip it looks like I will be able to swap it over with the plastic one that the new cup holder assembly came with...does any one know if this can be done??
Anyway...I few pics of my new baby....loving it so far...

Hi Speedah
welcome to the world of P cars on the east coast of Oz
Did you get the car at PCSS or Willoughby?
do you plan track days?
The Formula Company have a Burrows Drive day on the 7th of August
Well attended and plenty of Porsches will be there.
The still have vacancies across all 3 driving groups.

Not sure I would leave the towing eyes in place, a little parking tap will transfer all the enegry into the the bumper iron and chassis instead of being obsorbed to some extent by the bumper skin and foam mouldings behind. The Bumper skin is easly repaired/replace- chassis not so much.

I will be doing a lot of track work. I'm going to Wakefield on Thursday using the stock wheels/tires to get a feel for the car. I will contact The Formula Company and see if I can get a spot.
