gt2rs vs rs4.0 $
gt2rs vs rs4.0 $
slow day at work so wasting time online checking prices of 2rs vs 4.0 and seems the 4.0 has significantly more value than 2rs. close to $100k differential. i get that high rpm na motor is a plus but overall speed of turbo is greater, both are very rare, and have stick shifts. is this the time to get a 2rs before price jump?
the gt3rs has far less VALUE. it has a higher price because people want to pay what they want to pay for it.
get the gt2rs. truly the last of the greatest turbo ever made in Porsches 50+ years of the 911.

The GT2 RS lacks the visceral nature of the 4.0 GT3 RS - sure, it has more hp, but the suspension, weight and sound and feel are clearly one standard deviation below the purist 4.0 - That is why I have a 4.0 and a 50th anny and - altho I ordered a Turbo S and it came in weeks ago - I told the dealer they can sell it to someone else as my GT3 is soon to arrive - Naturally aspirated and connected is what stands the test of time - loading up more boost and HP without regard to the experience is what makes lesser cars (despite price) more of a depreciating asset.....
Although I agree that the GT2RS is probably undervalued a bit, I don't think it will do as well over time against the RS 4.0. The naturally aspirated and high revving Mezger is the one to have overall, and definitely from a purists type of mentality.
I would love to have a GT2RS to park by my GT3RS...the best of both worlds!
