I like the new GT3 seats but otherwise that interior doesn't do anything for me.

 

Those are Carrera GT seats, but with some nice alcantara inserts.

The center console with the radio & climate controls looks really cheap to me (but at least this one doesn't have nav, which looks even worse with all those little buttons around it).

 

sure glad I have the non-audi 996 interior...

 

I really like the new Gt3's use of Alcantara (seats and steering wheel)...also a big fan of the yellow needles and of course the Carrera GT Seats..I do agree that the radio/nav console could have been better, but overall I like the new design

I know you are trying to make yourself feel good about hte 996 interior since you have the old style now, but come on, that blows the 996 interior away.

 

One thing I never did like about the 996 was the interior. I love what they've done with the 997, but will reserve judgement till I get to see the build quality in person.

 

Until it pills like a cheap sweater... Ask the guys with the ZCP M3s.

 

i love that interior, especially the alcantara, but the steeering wheel, seats, shift **** and armrest WILL get worn rather quickly and will either shine up or become tattered like a sweater.

I just love every single thing about the 997 GT3.. Period.

 

Where are the cupholders?!!!

 

Above the glove box. They hide well. I really like the cup holders in the 997.
