i was invited to a very private sneak preview of the new v12 lambo, with 700 hp and 0-60 in 2.9 seconds the thing is beyond beyond crazy !!!, the unveil of the new name which wasn't announced will be announced in the Geneva Motor Show in March.

i was there too. Really love the look of the new v12 but I'm disappointed with the interior quality not the design thu

 

I am attending a similar event in Los Angeles this Friday, Dec 3. The local Lambo dealership in Dallas, TX is flying a few of us by private jet to LA for this event! I cannot wait to see the new car!

Any artist renderings? I'm really excited with what Lambo has been doing recently. This latest supercar sounds like a masterpiece.

 

When are the actual pictures going to be out? Im tired of the hype, lets get a look

 

lambo is working very hard to build up an order list. there are renderings on lambo forums.

 

The car sounds amazing..., but Nissan and Porsche made this seem a little less impressive.

(997 TTS - 0-100 in 3.0-1 and the GT-R does 0-100 in 3.04)

 

I saw thw car at the LA event. My thoughts are that it is visually impressive. Its exterior design is overwhelmingly influenced by the Reventon. It is almost like they did the Reventon to assess customer reaction before completing the design of this car. The interior looks good. It is more spacious and has a center console that resembles in height and ergonomics the center console of the Panamera. It has more headroom and the offcenter driving position and steering is gone. Front and back, there are many Reventon design elements. The most prominent exterior deviation from both the Reventon and the Murci is the side radiator intakes behind the door. This car also has a side intakes for the engine on top that open in a different fashion to allow more air to get in to the engine bay. The back end is not to my liking 100%. It has both Reventon overtones and design lines similar to the four door concept Lambo presented.

Overall, if you liked the Reventon, you are likely to like the styling of this car. The performance is well known and will be impressive. The ISR transmission is something I want to try out for sure...

 

It is definitely light years ahead of the competition. As Stephan Winkelmann said, he challenged the designers to have "NO Competitors." And that they did achieve. Unfortunately no cameras, but I still decided to put together a teaser type video. I will be going to Geneva so stay tuned.
