AMS car is fast. But we have not seen reliability out of the car yet in a while at the events the last two years. This was the first event it has finished in how long?


The UGR lambos are very reliable and a very proven platform.

 

Both brilliant pieces of engineering but

A Lamborghini is like a high end piece of diamond jewelry, elegant and superb.

A GTR is costume jewelry, high end but worthless in the resale market once the fashion trend is over.

The Lambo will always have a market, a very high end market for someone with taste and refinement.

 

So what your saying is that the AMS GTR is a street car that can be driven around town to and from the races?? That's all I was saying about the UGR Lambos and that's why I quoted a previous post.

 

I quoted this post and at the end of the day this is the performance/reliability that I want. As I previously posted, what AMS has done with the Nissan platform is impressive.

 

Sir you could not be any more wrong, again everyone is entitled to the opinions but facts are facts, the gtr is by far superior to any lambo when it comes to resale value. Thats something none of us have to debate because there is statistical data to support the FACTS. The gtr has one of the highest resale values of ANY car at any price on the road. Fashion trend, the gtr came out in 2009…...

 

Oh please don't you even compare that Altima with a Lambo....

 

Quick question, you call the Lambo a Lambo so why don't you call the Nissan a Nissan? I do agree with you that Nissan's do have a high resale value as I just sold a 2010 Sentra and got good money for it.

 

no I was comparing the FACT that the gtr has better resale value than the gallardo or any lambo for that matter. And if you want to compare the gallardo is of course a premium exotic car made with better materials but stock to stock the gtr is better at EVERYTHING. A stock gtr will drag your car up and down the street 0-60, 1/4 or anything else. And a gtr will litteraly destroy your car around ANY track in the world, it also out stops you, out turns you, and is more aero dynamic. So you don't have to like it but to say it doesn't compare when its better at EVERYTHING except being exotic is silly imo

 

You know your right except the joke went the wrong direction, I think the joke is the gtr out performs the best the lambo has to offer, the best porsche has to offer, and the best ferrari has to offer. The gtr does it for 1/4 to 1/3 of the price as just a "NISSAN". I think since 2009 allot of these engineers have allot to answer for.

Just a fyi the fastest Porsche around the ring excluding the 918 for a million + is a Gt2 RS, that is Porsches most track oriented model and it managed a ring time of 7:24, lol thats cute a base gtr did that back in 2011 the current Nismo gtr did 7:08.

And Mr.Lambo your car did a pedestrian 7:52 and the Superlagerra did 7:40.

So like the resale value these are FACTS, don't have to like the car but to absolutely obliterate the performance numbers of the best other exotics have to offer deserves respect, or keep calling it an Altima as it goes by you and the Enzo,Carrerra GT, acr viper, and many more

WRONG. The 'Ring Nismo car is a special package car with non-stock parts and not street legal.

The ACR and Aventador are quicker at several tracks. The Huracan is quicker in a straight line and lap times are tbd.

 

Listen I think you are in the wrong thread if you want to compare stock 2 stock cars maybe even the wrong site.

 

GT2RS actually did it in 7.18 but lets not let facts get in the way of your spirited argument... but feel free to buy a GTR Nismo and see how poorly it does versus the "N'ring" juiced car....

The GTR is a greatly engineered FUGLY fugly speedy heavy *** bus...

 

last time i checked, TI wasn't a beauty contest, nor was it an econ final exam, so i'm not sure why the pissing match about aesthetics or resale value. this was a race, and a really good one at that.
