Suspension for a Gallardo

Anyone know of what suspension people use to lower these cars? any recommendations? Let me know.. thanks!

I thought all you needed to do is take it to a dealer/ shop and have them turn a ****?

Yes, mine is being lowered as we speak.

Can you post a pic of it when its lowered? Do you have wheels on it? how much is this process costing you and did you take it to a Lambo Dealer Or "Car Shop"? What exactly do they do??? let me know.. Thanks!

I am having custom wheels made, and i do not know the costs yet. The Shop doing it is SP Engineering in California. They do all my cars. I will post pics when it is done.

Let me know how much they "lowered" it, what they did, and cost as i am very interested in doing it to my new Gallardo, as i have 19" Hre's On it.

You can lower as much as you want, just by twisting clockwise for lower and counter clockwise for higher....The dealership charged me $250, although, it took them about 15 minutes

looks really nice.. is it something you can do yourself? or do you recommend taking it to a shop (adjustable suspension?) Did you sell your Avus Wheels? what set up where you running?? how big was your lip in the rear?? let me know if you still have them as i would be interested..

The wheels were left on the car. I was running 20" rears and 19" fronts. That set-up has to be used or you mess up your tranny...For 05+ the cars have hydrolics in front that raise and lower the front end. I would just have your local Lambo shop lower the car..

Anyone with knowledge of coilover suspension is capable of lowering a Gallardo or a Murcielago. It's not as easy as just twisting *****, but, anyone is welcome to try. Allan's car will probably be lowered about 1/4" - 1/2" depending. It's always up to the customers prefrence. Good luck.

Definetley one of the easier labor jobs on the Lamborghini. $250-350 is about what you'll pay depending on the dealership.
