Macan is slightly longer, Evoque is slightly wider. But they are roughly the same size.

Thanks Tiago and Suzy for some of my question. Sorry my questions may be too wide for this discussion.

But the evoque has the freelander dna and low output engines. So you can only compare the look between these two cars. About the rest, it is like apples to oranges.

Very true..., but I read some rumors somewhere (can't remember where ir when) that the Evoque will become available with a more powerfull engine, to compete with the Macan. Not sure if it is true though...

RR Sport is not really a comparison either, since that is a bigger car (7 seat option) and more in line with the Cayenne IMO.

What do you get on a Macan S and Turbo for value?

Stronger engine, 18 ways adaptive sport seats, square tailpipes.........

Will Macan S or diesel with the good exhaust sound like in the turbo?

Really appreciate that anyone in here is Australian and know better of the road conditions in Victoria, Australia?

Thank you.
They are all excellent cars, except probably the X3. We have a 2007 ML320 diesel, I have been hanging out to replace it, but it has been one of the best cars we have ever owned. We have a Discovery 2 for the rough stuff. I will almost certainly buy the Macan S, maybe the diesel version. It really depends on what you want to use it for. The Macan will be very capable off road for what it is, will handle small boats, motorbike trailers, dogs and trips to the snow and when you want to have fun it will go like a cat on a hot tin roof

The main difference is the engine, some minor exterior differences including the extra LED bar on the bumper, painted lower sections of the bumpers, and larger brake rotors. Alot of the items that are standard on the Turbo you can get with options on the S, the items above aren't options for the S. The S and the Turbo exhaust should sound relativily similar IMO, unless the Turbo has a completely different set up other than the tips.(could have larger diameter piping, but i would assume it has the same amount of cats and silencers)

Diesel engine also has a turbo and makes more boost that the turbo version...

Not as good as a petrol turbo engine but it sounds pretty close.

I think someone here mentioned that a P-car technical overview to the techs indicated that the Turbo was going to have up-rated/beefier driveline components over the S.

did anyone know the white colour paint (even is not metallic class finish), how long will it last (warranty) compare to metallic paint?

Frustrated that there is not white metallic for the extra coating on top of the paint.

Pretty sure there is clear coating on the non-metallic white as well. This has been the case for most Euro cars for a long time now, according to paint shop here. Porsche's white is very nice.
