Porsche is still in the process of ongoing testing & developing the Macan to MY2015 specs until at least mid-February, at which point it will be released to auto test journalists, according to the Macan design chief's words at the LA launch.

Just read that the '15 Cayennes will come with PDK (except the hybrid and the diesel). Of course, the Cayenne body will be changed to look more similar to the Macan as well. Good news!

Thanks for the links! Like another person mentioned, I can't wait to see one in person as well as one compared to the updated Cayenne.

The wife needs a new car and likes SUVs.

I agree with the OP's statements.

I am buying one for my Mom. She currently owns a Panamera however she doesnt like the large size (hood particularly), it is hard to see over. Secondly, it is diffficult for her to get in and out of, she is 78 YO and it sits similar to a sportcar. Finally, placing and removing groceries is much easier as the rear cabin floor is the perfect height. She also wants the good MPG.

I will order the turbo model, she is a little heavy on the gas peddle .
