He most likely ordered the dark blue metallic option since sapphire blue metallic [the electric blue used in Porsche's press and marketing materials] isn't due out until 10/2014. Whether that's week 10 or October is beyond me although most people are saying it'll be week 10.

I believe the name for the white leather is 'pebble grey' - only available in conjunction with agate grey Pretty sharp colour scheme, it's what the black macan turbo was sporting at the launch

Not... (Yet) just be patient... The additional interior- and exterior colors will eventually appear in the configurator. I guess somewhere next month.

Thanks Suzy. Yes, we are still in the early stage of the Macan.

Is the clock display at instrument panel come in standard for all ranges of Macan? or we just get it from Sport Chrono Package or Compass display at instrument panel?

Really appreciate for the one who know. Thanks.

This one comes with sport chrono package:

Compass one is different:

If you order neither sport chrono nor compass, there will be nothing there. (edit: for the Australian market. US apparently gets an analog clock there as per your post on macanforum )

Macan S comes standard with an 11-speaker 235W system.

Thumbs up

Thanks Jonathan.

Without something at the instrument display, it looks weird to me.

Thanks for the information.

Sorry been a pain since Australian pricing for Macan is almost double the figure than in the US. A bit picky to chose those long options.

That's weird. Why would they continue to disguise it. I wonder if the video is old.

Size: Cayenne aren't large SUVs. They're mid-size. So going to an even smaller SUV doesn't seem to be advantageous. Also, the Cayenne can tow 2500 lbs more weight, which matters to me since I use mine to tow.

Performance: Considering a loaded Macan TT weighs 4600 lbs (just like my GTS), I can't see the Macan outperforming my GTS in any way.

Price: I loaded out a Macan TT and it was 'only' $10k less than my GTS was, with similar options.

If price is the primary concern, I get it. It's a world-class SUV at a better price than its big-brother. But if price isn't the main reason, the Cayenne gives you a little more room, better performance, more options, and (if it matters to you) higher towing capacity.

I'm not trying to change anyone's mind, just trying to learn other perspectives.

Thoughts?
its not geared torwards the american market...

go to latin america or asia where the roads are narrow like a bike path , people are actually much smaller lol , every $ of gas savings is worth it , also in many of these countries taxes on the vehicle are 100& of retail therefore an extra 10k is more like 20k... I am assuming also replacement parts of the macan will be cheaper etc...

+1 with the exception of significantly cheaper as it depends on how you option the car. Also the rear of the Macan can actually be a bit more aggressive design. But overall, its a very nice SUV
