Why are there so Many Low Mile 570s on the Used Market

Recently started searching for a 570S to replace my 911. There are tons of cars out there with less than 2,000 miles and no real good explanation for why. Does anyone have any explanation? Are there reliability issues with the car?

My opinion is people are trading up... or they’re waiting on the Spyder version. We looked at a super low mileage 16 570S but ultimately decided to get our 650S instead. Only known issue with 570S that I know of is speedo calibration is off by as much as 10mph.

I had a 2016 991.1 Turbo S modded with GIAC stage 2 tune, tubi catless exhaust, IPD "Y" pipe and plenum. The car was an absolute monster and I loved the reliability of the car. I would have to say for a 200k car, the fit and finish is lacking but Porsche was never known for the fancy interiors. However, after I took a serious test drive in the Mclaren 720s it was game over for me. I really wanted something not to be good with the test drive. The car handled everything I threw at it, the performance is outstanding, there is no lag, the shifting is seamless. The car is comfortable and I would feel confident taking it on a long trip if I had to. The warranty is exceptional for a car of this magnitude. 3 years with unlimited mileage, something that is not very common. Is the car perfect? No it's not, there are some English quirky things and the car isn't built like a Porsche.

Yes, that was an old post. I bought a 570 S almost 2 years ago. While it's filled with quirks and wonky electronics, it is WAAAYY more car than a Porsche anyday. From a performance perspective, it's amazing. Probably looking for a 720 Spyder in the not too distant future.

For anyone that test drives the 720s, and has the means to pull the trigger, there is simply nothing out there that can compete with it.

I have a 997.1 Turbo modded pretty good - 635awhp/635tq, but it is set up for cornering and it does it extremely well. This car hangs with cars making 200whp more without any issues.
I also have a GTR with 840awhp/820tq, made to go fast in the straight. The car hangs with 1000rwhp cars very well.
The 720s I have is pretty much stock - only a cat-back. It handles every little bit as good as the 997.1 and is just as fast as the GT-R up to 180 - then it just pulls hard.

TAILWAG,

I had a 2006 Jeep SRT that I had all modded up (everything you could do without opening engine or superchaging), Huge Intake, Exhaust, Pipes, Tune, spacers, pulleys....The thing was a monster. It might have been my favorite car ever because when you stomped on the gas off the line and made all that noise, it totally put people in awe...

Nice stable you have. Maybe I'll get up to the 720 soon.

Today I think the number of 600LTs for sale is the bigger issue.

Drive it like you stole it!

Mine is a 2017 about to hit 49,000 miles. Enjoy it. No issues with it at all. Plan to hit 100,000 with this car. Love it. Never got the whole thing about not putting miles into a car.
