Hey Gentlemen,

I need a copy of Windows to run on my Mac via Parallels. Any help would be appreciated.

It's $25 at my uni. I know that some schools carry it for less money though, so if you can't find a better deal, just PM me.

Here's XP Home upgrade, which you can use if you have disks with older OS around (doesn't need to be installed). It's $39, and you get Windows Vista for free when it comes out.

I am looking for a similar setup on my I book. Could you tell me some more about the setup? what else is needed to have dual environments?

No go if you don't have an intel based mac. When i heard that apple released bootcamp for their intel macs, I bought a mac mini to give XP Pro a run. It did everything i needed so i immediately disposed of my PCs. Now, I run dual boot (mac & xp) on my mac mini core duo, 15" macbook pro core duo, 17" macbook pro core2 duo and mac pro quad xeon with 30" cinema attached. And the funny thing is that the mac runs XP just as fast as any comparable PC. how's that for sticking it up Dell's ****!

Exactly. U need an Intel Mac. After that u can either purchase Parallels which allows both to be run simultaneously ($79) or use BootCamp which requires a restart each time you want to switch operating systems (free beta software)
