that really messed with my head. i looked at one and thought, "isn't that a Viper?" my eyes hopped to the other one and i thought, "no, they got it right, it's a Corvette." then my eyes went back, "no, that's totally a Viper." and this is why coffee is the very first thing i do when i wake up.

 

I will have to see the two side by side in the flesh so to speak... get on that guys!

 

Yup, I did the same thing. I took this from another forum, that someone posted about the similarities. Some things I like and some I don't from both vehicles, but they are too alike in my opinion.

 

Vipers are a bargain compared to the first C7 that sold for over $1 million at Barrett Jackson!

 

i saw the ALMS Vipers and they don't look much like Corvettes at all, other than the basic front engine rear-drive coupe layout. the magazines make them look so similar because of the identical color and angle and, i'm thinking, there might be some computer aided license taken with making them look even closer alike.

The fact that they look similar is nothing new (Gen 3 Vipers constantly get the "looks like a Vette"), but I will say that it reflects positively on the Vette since it's half the price.
