Just watched the weather report for this weekend 10/27-10/28
just take some of that anti-hangover medication that you can buy at rite-aid....and meet us at 10 am. lol!
However, there are several roads in the Granite Falls area that are suitable for Porsches.
I think for a "spirited drive" east of the mountains your best bet is to bite the bullet and go straight over to Cle Elum on I-90. Several cafes there for lunch ops. Then head easterly out of town on SR 970. Follow SR 970 for about 12 miles, then turn right onto US-97 towards Ellensburg. After about 12 miles you'll come to a STOP sign. Railroad crossing there, but turn right onto SR-10 and that will take you back to Cle Elum. (You could then go towards Roslyn onto the Salmon La Sac road.
If you really want a fast ride don't take SR-10, but continue straight at the STOP and continue towards Ellensburg. Get on I-90 and go towards Yakima on I-82/US-97. About a mile after turning off of I-90 turn right onto SR-821. When you get get to the end of this road you could turn around a do it the other way or just get back on I-90 and beat feet for home.
Hope this helps
I really want to join the event but I doubt I can make it unless my local dealership can fix my car before Sunday. It is 4 in the morning and I have been waiting outside for roadside assistance for two and a half hour already. My clutch was stuck and I couldn't shift the gear. Hopefully roadside assistance will be here soon and the dealership can fix it fast.

So where is everyone meeting at?
Jody, If I bring my girlfriend along, think she could borrow your helmet? I've gotten her accustomed to speeding in the I-90 tunnels, but I don't know how she'd handle any form of twisties =P

I haven't been to a DTM meet/drive since that chick went head on into a lancer with her 328is. I refused to go on that drive and Matt had to turn around because "They were going to kill someone".
Plus there were kids bragging about going on drives on CORDED tires etc. Not the type of people I want driving in front or behind me honestly. It's a younger group and I prefer to only drive with people that you know...drive with 2 hands, don't buy Angel Eyes instead of tires and aren't inspired by Tokyo Drift.
