BTW....I have extra walkie talkies if anyone needs to borrow them!
Oh btw, on Saturday there is another bmw meet this time put together by my good buddy. It looks like this time around there will be more M3s than the last meet, along with the usual 335s and other 3 series. I am going to stop by there Saturday if anyone is interested in joining me. They are planning on driving around a bit and eating at Red Robin before the Sat evening gtg. Anyhow, thought I would throw this out there...

yep! i'll see you on sat.! i just need the details so i can find you!
Yeah i will miss her dearly. The distance is FAAAAAAAAAR! She is originally from Toronto and is going back to help her father take care of mom. She will be there until we get married, which will probably be late next year. She does not enjoy the drives...not much of a car person unfortunately.

well, most of the time, we have hit a gas station along the way. usually, we fill up full before the fun. yep, i know it adds some weight to the ride, but usually, we go through 1/2 tank on the drive itself.

my advice would be to fill up. =) the luncheon sounds like it will be at the 1/2 mark. it's over the pass. =)

Meeting place is Sat 3pm, top level of the northeast parking garage in bellevue square. All cars are invited...these guys love P-cars. Let me know if you are coming...it would be cool for us P-car owners to roll into the garage together.

Sorry guys, but since I have to go to a fundraiser dinner at 4:30 pm, it's important that I make it back in time. Larry and a few other friends will be going with me early on in the morning. Maybe somehow you guys can catch up with us.

josh,

sounds like larry and jason are going earlier. i think the majority of us are doing the 10 am time as orig. scheduled.

any route ideas? do you know the route that larry was talkin' about? i don't. i only know how to get to salmon la sac road. anyway, sounds like we'll have quite a few people meeting at 10! even a new person, or two!

so....who's for sure in for the 10 am XXX on sunday? just trying to help josh out since he had the orignial idea for the drive and he was going to make maps for us all. =)

This is the itinerary that I've come up with. Send me a PM if you'd like to join us.

Friday - meeting at 9:30 am at my place. Destination: Teanaway Valley
Sunday - meeting at 8:30 am at my place. Destination: Salmon La Sac

-Both drives will emphasize photo ops rather than twisties and speed
-The kind of car you drive or ride in doesn't make any difference

Sorry, I wish I could join you guys at 10 am but I doubt that I'd be back in time for the fundraiser if I did.

wow, sounds like we have two events going on for sunday. i'd like to make the friday drive, but i work. can't make that one. =(

i just want to be sure you guys are still planning on the sunday drive at 10 am at XXX? i don't want to show up and nobody's there! hahaah! i'm guessing that the 10 am drive may be more about the drive verses pictures since larry and jason aren't able to make that time w/ us.

hope to see you all then!

Any recommendations on 2-way radios? I need to buy a pair instead of always borrowing someone's. I was going to go with some Cobra ones with a 12-mile range...they look nice and I'm sure they would do the job. But if some of you think that one brand works much better than another then please chime in.
