Hwy 101 Peninsula Run --- Tuesday 5/8

I posted up a thread recently regarding interest in a midweek drive

The GF's birthday is 5/8 and she has requested a spirited trip up and around Hwy 101. We made this run last August in my old 335i. Have yet to take the M3 on a fun run.


According to Accuweather and Weather.com, next Tuesday 5/8 is supposed to be clear, dry, and 64 in Tacoma and 56 to 57 out on the coast in Port Angeles.


Tuesday 5/8 - 10:00am - Meet at Starbucks - 1723 South 72nd Street, Tacoma, WA

Fuel up on caffeine and there's a Chevron right across the street

Depart 10:30am


We'll stop in Port Angeles for a quick bite. Not sure where yet, but I'll update once I figure it out.


We'll also stop off at Lake Crescent (Most likely the western point).

We've got a few confirmed. Friend of mine with his nice B5 S4 is coming out. It has one of the TiAL kits on it making around 500awhp. Fun car without a doubt. Have a maybe from a 996 owner on here.

Realistically looking for 5-7 cars.

There won't be any flaking either. The GF and I are going whether it's just us, or there's 10 people coming along.

Looks like we'll have a few cars from Bellevue joining you. We'll try and get to Starbucks by 10:30 traffic permitting.

M3 is all washed up and tucked away in the garage.

No worries. I'll plan another one at some point.

The police were out in full force today. I made this same trip last August and saw maybe 1 or 2 the entire trip. I believe we came across around 10 of 'em today.

Very tired. Lots of driving. Absolute blast. Thanks to all those that made it out!

 

Nico told me about this the day of. I was already doing something or else I would have come out.

 

That was a fun run. Enjoyed getting out and logging some spring miles. Weather was pretty good as I had my window down most of the day. Hope to see you on another run.
