Panamera Windshield "cut out"

Can someone please tell me where the cut out is in the windshield so I can mount my toll tag? I now have it at the top just to the right of the rearview mirror, but it doesn't seem to work well there. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Bo

should be exactly in the middle behind the rearview mirror, all the way to the top. The toll tag has to be touching the top of your window frame. Somebody here just posted a pdf showing the cut out on a Cayenne. He said you can see where the film is cut out behind the mirror, about where the rain sensor is.

Unless it's been changed, the windshield in the "thermal and noise insulated glass" package doesn't have a cut-out.

I investigated this ad-nauseum with PCNA and PAG because of the radar detector implications involved. Radar detection is impossible through this windshield.

The technology involved is just like the Cayenne package of the same name and doesn't appear to involve cell phone coverage issues.

That is what I was afraid of. I have noticed that the Valentine One hasn't been picking up any (or very little) forward signals.

I do have the thermal and noise insulated option. I guess I will have to look at built in radar options.

Thank you for the responses.

Anyone try an EZ Pass through the "thermal and noise insulated window"?

thermal windows

I have "thermal and noise insulated windows".
It has a cutout just to the left of the mirror.
It's very obvious just looking at the window where the cut is.
EZPass works perfectly.
I have no radar detector - but I assume it would work in the cutout.

My wife also has a '08 cayenne.
It also has the thermal windows.
That cutout is in exactly the same place.

I have the thermal & noise insulated windshield. The cut out is definitely there. I can see it and I just set my EZ-pass before I went through the toll and it read it. The spots are on either side of the rear view mirror bump out about an inch from the very top.
