The "S" model of the Turbo comes at the end of a model run. 996 to 997, 997 to 99? etc. so it's going to be a while.

 

Was thinking the same thing...try to get the last 'growth' out of the model range. Whenever it comes...it's going to be a MONSTER.

For me, it's the GTS that I'm wanting to see. 4S w/ Turbo front end? I guess it might be a year or two...

 

ditto. Can you imagine what the TTS will cost? Had a Cayenne GTS and know they're going to do the PGTS at some point....

 

Hey, if they first bring out the two-door before the "S", and don't change anything else, it will be a monster due to the weight loss.

 

I have no inside info on the Panamera but since the D4 S8 is due in 2012 and will sport a 4.0 TT V8 with aprox. 520 bhp i'm pretty sure Porsche will want to keep up with the lighter Audi, also RS7 will follow at some point so that too may be the right incentive for an upgrade.

I just saw the info on the 2011 S63AMG 5.5TT engine 540 bhp, with sport package 570bhp, it will definitely end up in the new CLS so the Panamera Turbo S is an inch closer.

 

huh the RS6 is still way to faster than the Panamera so what do u expect from the new AMG engine ??
