PCM shuts off and on
I was wondering when you had your XM subsciption cancelled did the channels still work for a bit or did it go straight to preview? I have been dealing XM for 2 days and they keep saying we just cancelled it so check to see if you have any channels which I have all of them!!!!!!!!!! They have tried 3-4 times now to cancel but to no avail. I honestly don't know what to do next. Thanks Del
I'm unable to get PCM functioning properly, even though I canceled Sirius XM 3 days ago.
I'm in the same boat. Canceled XM last Friday but the radio still plays all the XM channels. Reset changes nothing. Called XM and of course they claim this is a problem from Porsche and nothing to do with XM. Sounds like time for a class action.

@stealthn Can you connect your car to a trickle charger and leave it outside for a few hours? Did you pull the fuse or something?
After canceling the service, it needs an over the air update. Are you sure they canceled the subscription to your vehicle?

Update: The vehicle handover process worked fine for about a week, until I got around to re-adding my Samsung phone as a bluetooth device. Shortly thereafter it began rebooting again. I did the vehicle handover reset again immediately, and in the several days since then have not added the bluetooth phone back as a device, and no additional reboots have occurred. I am going to try to add an IOS device as a bluetooth device to see if I can isolate the problem somewhat.
OMG, worst experience ever!
(Yes I have the fuse pulled and the car is outside), I tested my stations today and I still have it?!
I called Sirius and asked them if they actually cancelled it; the answer is yes, but it takes up to a week for it to "go away" - I called BS, told them if I cancelled my card and didn't pay I bet it would be dropped in an hour (He couldn't figure this out)
So now my car is going in on Thursday, but my Sirius won't be gone until Friday ... I can't believe this crap.
I have asked for a supervisor at Sirius and was told it would take a day to get back to me....yeah right...

Update: Fired the 2010 up today and still rebooting, and I still have Sirius. So going in to Service tomorrow (not that they can do anything about it), maybe Friday when Sirius finally gets cancelled, it will fix it.
I also have a thread on another forum where another 2010 PT has the same issue, the dealership is unable to update PCM due to the reboots, so all they could do is open case with Porsche.

I took my 2010 Panamera to Hennessy Porsche. I called first and they said that no appointment was needed as they could do the patch in the drive through.
They loaded a CD in the head unit, updated the software and five minutes later I was on my way to work. No hassle and no charge. It has worked great for 24 hours.
I will update if the problem returns. I did ask the service guy about the problem and he said it has been the 2010 & 2016 PCM's that require them to have a software
reload/patch done from the CD. The rest seem to handle the simple reset.
Thanks Hennessy
