PCM shuts off and on
I'm going on a rock climbing trip for two weeks starting Sunday...not in my Panamera...so I'm gonna quit trying until I return. Maybe Porsche and Sirius XM will have this figured out by then!
I have tried the PCM handover reset but it wasn't working for me. After three days, I called Sirius and canceled the service for THIS car only. Just give them the Radio ID. The rebooting stopped about 5 hours later. I'm not going back to Sirius. I no longer trust them.
Getting worse
Alright.....now this is out of control!!!
i just went in to the garage and could hear music. What is that?
My car stereo is rebooting every two minutes with the key out of the car!!!
I pulled the PCM fuse for now.
Fixed it

For those who have tried the reset procedure without success, the following process will fix the issue.
YOU HAVE TO CALL SIRIUS AND CANCEL THE SERVICE TO YOUR VEHICLE.
I've done it and it works.
I HATE SIRIUS XM. I'm serious.
Will never use them again. I'm not going to risk an over the air update that could potentially permanently brake software in my Porsche.

@Nikita4ever, and that is what is most concerning. What if the reset didn’t fixed the issue, we would all be looking at replacing a very expensive head unit cause of Sirius / XM blunder. And I’m sure they would’ve told us to go kick rocks in flip flops instead of helping.
Is there a way to permanently disable Sirius XM. Although the issue was resolved after canceling the service, the vehicle is still receiving the Sirius XM signal. I can still get Channel 1 commercials. Is it possible to remove the XM antenna?
Heck, I want nothing to do with satellite radio.

I was wondering when you had your XM subsciption cancelled did the channels still work for a bit or did it go straight to preview? I have been dealing XM for 2 days and they keep saying we just cancelled it so check to see if you have any channels which I have all of them!!!!!!!!!! They have tried 3-4 times now to cancel but to no avail. I honestly don't know what to do next. Thanks Del
Cancelled the service but still have the issue, bigger concern is I did verify it reboots with the car off - this will drain your battery. I pulled fuse 3 on the drivers dash fuse bank to prevent it.
also logged a complaint with Porsche as draining the battery is now a safety issue.

Don’t worry. It took me 5 hours to resolve itself after the service cancelation.
If you can still get all the channels after channel 1, you still have service.
I connected my car to a battery tender while I waited.
