Tried the actual reset option because some noted the handover option didn't work, so I figured I would try the only other option....3 times with no success. So I finally tried the handover option and it seems to have worked. I'll double check it tomorrow just in case.

I did the "Factory Reset" and it worked. I had to reset all of my stations and sound settings and phone but it worked the first time I did it. The Handover approach did not work for me.

Good advice

That will resolve your issue. Please know that you will have to reset all of your stations and relearn your phone for Bluetooth purposes after this is completed.
I just started having this same problem today with my Panamera, but thanks for advice from Okhotnik, no longer have this problem. Followed ur advice and it now works like a charm.

I did the reset yesterday and still can't get the XM refresh to take on my car. Only have Channel 1. Any one else or do you have all your XM channels after the reset?

It wipes everything completely all your audio levels, presets you had stored, Bluetooth, even your back up camera settings. My refresh worked the first time, just make sure your car is in an open area, if your phone has good cell signal, and you should be ok. I’ve noticed in the past that sometimes it takes a little while for the refresh signal from XM to go through. Good luck.

Mine is going into a Lambo shop that has Porsche techs on Wed. I will be interested in the difference between the PCM reset and The P tool

From my service advisor:
This is a nationwide issue that started yesterday due to a corrupt satellite radio file. See resetting procedure below and this should take care of it – if not, please let me know.

Please be aware this procedure will delete all presets, navigation destinations, telephones, etc. from the PCM. A PIWIS Tester II is not required to carry out the following procedure and it is also described in the PCM operator's manual under the heading "Resetting personal settings". This procedure can be carried out by the customer, the vehicle is not required to be in the workshop.

· Press and hold the PCM >> Info button for approximately 10 seconds until the PCM reboots.

· Immediately select the following from the PCM: CAR >> OPTION >> Set PCM System >> Reset PCM >> Vehicle Handover >> Yes >> Yes
