PDK operation.

I may have posted this in someone else s post but I try again.
15 Pana 4, 10K miles. When selecting reverse it takes a second or two to engage the gear. Drive engages faster. Have to wait before giving it gas and feeling it engage reverse. Strange? Adjustable ?

Thanks, I notice the slightest little things mechanically most often over thinking these things.
Someone posted another post explaining that the PDK is a clutch system different than a regular auto trans... Maybe this is what I feel. Hope he will chime in, LOL.

My 2010 Turbo does the same thing. I just assumed it was normal.

I have something very similar. Makes me think clutch is slipping - but it could be just that's the way the car works.

It's the way the car works. It is a clutch system that is operated by the car instead of your foot. Totally normal. A minor thing considering how much faster it can row through the gears than you can with your foot.

Great! Thanks guys for all the info... I was assuming it was the PDK operation and stayed clear of having the dealer look at it. LOL.
