971 (G2) Panamera GTS
I've been following the development of the 971 Panamera since the first spy shots started to appear online years ago and am thrilled with the end result - the Panamera that finally looks like a 4-door 911 that is also attractive.
Ever since the original reveal in June 2016 I've been playing with their configurator for hours-on-end tinkering with options and color combinations to see what I'd end up ordering for my budget.
What I keep realizing is that the "deal of the Porsche lineup" (if there is such a thing) tends to always be the GTS model, and most would agree it was one of the best 970 (G1) Panameras available.
Does anyone have any concrete info yet on the 971 GTS? I'm looking for timeline of release, engine, styling, etc. As far as photos, I found one spot on Autogespot but that is all. It seems to line up as it has a unique front bumper cover, the Turbo's brakes and gloss black wheels, all typical of current GTS models. Here are those photos:

Not positive. It is categorized as such on Autogespot, which is fairly reliable and good source of spy shots (and non-spy shots) of all kinds of cars throughout the world.
The clues indicating it is a GTS:
The clues indicating it is a GTS:
- Unique front bumper cover (neither the Turbo model's nor the base/4S model's)
- The Turbo model's brakes
- Gloss black wheels
- Unique wing mirrors
- The Turbo model's 3-piece rear spoiler
- It was spotted on July 22nd 2016 in this camouflage, a full month after the official release to where camouflage would no longer be needed on the other models

Any updates on this inquiry. I’m in the middle of deal on a 4S and would like any info. How long from a debut to a release in the U.S.
how soon after a car launches to they make the GTS version available. For example my 2016 cayenne GTS came out 2 years before the new style. 1 year after the refresh of 2015

GTS is usually introduced into the lineup when the lineup needs a littler more life after it has been out a while.
I would of assume it would release end of 2018 as a 2019 model.
