IMO wise move. Could melt the housing plus cause other electrical problems. That would be the last thing anyone with a Porsche needs (where electrical issues are the Achilles' heel of the car).

Too bad there isn't an aftermarket solution that can solve this issue. Something along a more aggressive looking lower bumper diffuser and extra reverse light.
I had tried to order the same lights as skiracer, but they where no longer available on Amazon, so I got these, 50 watts 900lm!! (also amazon)
the camera does it's best to adjust for the available light so the dramatic difference is hard to see in these, but if you look carefully there are some good clues.

AFTER:
I took a picture of the part tag on the housing, if someone has the housing without the access hatch they might be able to find some that has it.
if you can find some from a salvage yard for a good price the upgraded lights are worth it.
of course that is assuming the tag on the non hatch ones are different....
this one comes in 80w version too. Since it is LED it shouldn’t get hot to damage the housing . Do you think 80 W works or it is better to use 50 W?
also is there any cable/harness comes with it?
the other one that someone else used it and was 30w have a cable attached to it?

you're right, the LEDs shouldn't get very hot but I'd be more worried about the wiring carrying more current than it was designed for
no cables or harness needed, plugged directly into the stock harness
Ok thanks for infos.
then I will go for 50w as the same you did. I haven’t look at tail light yet. I hope mine wasn’t one those sealed ones that can’t be open. My car is Panamera 4 2013.

i haven’t got the bulb yet but I thought to ask the manufacturer about the power consumption. I really haven’t seen any LED bulb with actual 50 W power consumption. So I asked them and this is the reply:
Hi,so sorry, 50W is theory power but not actual power, actual power is about 7W
so I saw the list of the bulbs on the tail light. I think the most you can go is 16 W. So if you find the 100W LED the actual power should be around 14 W.
[QUOTE=skiracer13;4762652]Glad to help - here's a pic of the reverse lights on my garage door - not headlights... Very bright and very white![ Success 🥳 before I get cutting, I have the sealed reverse bulb casing 🙄 Reverse lights are rubbish on my 2012 Panny. Please can you confirm which bulbs you went for, or anybody have a more powerful upgrade? And did you have to cut out the back and add the new part with seal
