Ok so I feel the ticking in my dash clock has gotten louder, I have an exhaust on the car and can still hear the clock...anyone know what could be going on

lol. You are a navy seal, super aware of your surroundings, every sense is amplified when in high stress situations.
Maybe you drive the car 200mph and fear is amplifying it all. LOL.

Joking aside, hard to tell. I do not know what could cause ticking to become louder. Recent work on card to eliminate previous noisier drive, could do it.

Lets swap clocks :-) I actually love the ticking sound my clock makes. Could it be the ambient sound of engineering precision? ..not sure... just being out on the road in the dark road in the rain with the clock ticking sounds... well right.

maybe the clock is compensating for the louder exhaust?
