Good day, new to 6speedonline.
I'm sure this has been discussed time & time again throughout the years so I apologize to anyone who rolls their eyes lol.
I have 5 out LED lights in passenger tail light assembly of my 2010 Panamera.
I would have preferred to just replace the assemblies with something unique & different but my searches have revealed that no one offers anything aftermarkwt for 09-13 Panameras (if there is, please point me in the right direction).
Also learned that these tail lights are not considered "serviceable" per say. I didn't really plan on purchasing a replacement assembly for well over $300.00, so I was wondering if anyone has ever accessed the internals and replaced the burnt out LEDs in any Panamera assemblies? I havent really found anything online, and I'm surely not the only person dealing with this issue. My car is garaged all the time and the assemblies look brand new, with the exception of the out LEDs, no moisture or any other issues with them. Hate to scrap it if theres the chance it might be able to be repaired.
Thank you for any suggestions!

Reason: Additional information
Welcome !
While I cannot opine on this component being serviceable or not, there are a couple of on-line suppliers which sell OEM components at 'cost plus'.
Sunset Porsche on the West Coast (OR) sells at cost +5%, while SunCoast is a comparable supplier on the East Coast (FL). Have you checked their prices ?
Please keep us informed in case you decide to try to fix the burned out LEDs, we love DIY fixes around here

Yves, I greatly appreciate the information! No I havent looked into either supplier. I was in hope's of finding someone who offered a unique aftermarket replacement but no such luck. I guess I will be left with replacing it with a factory unit, possibly from one of the two sources you mentioned.
if I do replace the taillight with a factory unit, then I will attempt the disassembly & repair (if it's at all possible) and report back.
it's sad Porsche made them "non serviceable" in the sense that you cant just replace the LEDs. It's also sad that no one offers aftermarket.
Thanks again for info.
I purchased these aftermarket lights in 2018. The tops are just starting to craze a little now, a year and a half in the South Florida sun. Not sure I would buy them again. If the car was kept inside maybe they would last longer. Or maybe if the 3M film is UV certified it would help.
I will say, oem or aftermarket there's nothing like a new set of tail lights.

Just an update, I am ready to buy tail lights again. Supposedly the ones I bought 2 years ago were ULO brand which are supposed to me OEM. They still went bad on me and it drives me crazy to see crazing in my tail lights. I found this company selling sets for $860 shipped - https://www.europaparts.com/checkout/cart/

If I may make a suggestion...have them clear coated by a solid paint shop, as most clear has UV protection in it and should help. Any updated pictures of what the headlights look like now?
Thank you, great suggestion! I will do that for sure this time. I will post some pictures of the old tail lights later.
they don’t look that bad in the photos, my new ones arrived today. Going to drop them off at my body guy tomorrow.
I put the tint on the tops because they looked like hell too. Not to say they look good with the tint, but kept my eyes off it.

Yes, I would be interested in selling them. I don't think you have your PM messaging on. I can't send you a PM
Great! Let me work on the PM thing. I think I need to post a few more times, or wait 5 days, then it will open up. Keep me in mind, as I'm interested in your tail lights.
