Last week, as I was enjoying the car, with no error for many days, I was just driving and all of a sudden the transmission fault came on. Pulled over to gas station, turned car off, started back up, and transmission fault went away, car was just fine.
So after about 3 weeks or so of no errors, one came up.
Few days ago, I decided to do launches. Did 4 in a row. No errors, nothing at all, car pulls great. Since then still no error.

I have no idea what I should be doing about this. I do not want the error at all, so guess it would mean replacing the sensor pack. Advice? Thanks in advance.

I notice in the jump pack thread you used it to jump your PTT? Is the battery bad again? I noticed the PASM works whenever it wants, so I tend to keep the battery on a charger/maintainer quite often.

No, the battery is new and in perfect condition. I maintained it too. I can easily say batt not bad at all.

Maybe a PIWIS would give more info? I, too, have a Durametric Pro cable. I’ve read that even when a Durametric reads normal a PIWIS will find faults. @rbrunelle has some great insights/info on PIWIS on Rennlist. I’ve actually downloaded the software (free) and have just ordered the clone PIWIS 2 hardware (from China).

I am positive the sensor is giving errors and will get swapped out, the only thing was that the error is hard to reproduce now. Like I said, probably month no error, then one, then trying to repro, cannot do so.
Already have the pdk pan and bolts, filter and gasket, fluid and all I need is inclination to call and order the part, nearly 1k cost. Before I do so, trying to shake out all the bushes to see if anything else falls out.

As an update, since May I have not seen the transmission fault. Have driven in all modes, did multiple launches. No issues. This is driving me nuts. Do I buy the 1k part? Or just hold off. My thinking is do nothing, or at least change pdk pan/filter, and fluid.
Suggestions? Thanks.

Nothing like waiting a week and a half to two weeks for a $1k plus HPFP and while waiting tearing down the car, getting the old pump out and new pump in, sending the old pump back for core credit, actually my wife had a hell of a time because I developed a cough and didn't want to possibly infect someone, to teach me a lesson. If it ain't broke why fix it ciaka? Mine was broke, but I didn't confirm what the problem was...

Yeah. I just have lately been driving it as if never happened. All modes, no issues. Possible voltage issues. Works perfect now though. Thanks. Just trying to reinforce my guesses.

Long story short...pdk shift rod sensors. Just replaced them and recalibrated pdk. Awesome now. Have pics for diy, sometime soon, will post.
