PCH Mailbu Canyon
PCH Mailbu Canyon
Lets have a run through the canyons of Mailbu theres a stretch of about 15 miles of canyons near Malibu which leads into a one way road into PCH. All Cars are welcome. If anyone would want to join on this let me know so we can organize it.
I usually go out there every sunday, Ive never spotted any black and whites in the canyons. Thanks for the heads up. Its a great canyon, not to many people driving thru that area.
The road im talking about is when you get off the 101 on las virgenes going towards Mailbu Canyon you make a left on Piuma. It takes you from there all the way on top of the mountain and then back down into a ONE Way rd. onto PCH. Which road are you talking about?

i think your talking about stunt road but nonethe less malibu canyons ahev been cop haven .. we havent been up there in years .. cop activity too high....
Im not sure if its called stunt road or not. But me and my buddies go out there every weekend never seen a black and white around there, only in the actual malibu canyon. There are other car clubs that go throughout this canyon seen a couple guys from lambo-power. Im always up for new canyons. Any Suggestions??
I am up for a canyon run any time. Have not been up there in a few months, but the last few times officers were hanging out at the top of Stunt and Mulholland. Never seen any on Latigo, Yerba Buena or Piuma. I think the reason they are always on Stunt is that is the road where many cars have gone off in the last few months.
Also I have a video camera set up in my Z so could get footage of the drive. Went on a few drives with the LamboPower guys and have those videos on my site.

I was up in the Malibu canyons on Sunday afternoon and saw no CHP's. They're out there though. You just have to pick your spots. Can't tell you how many times I've seen officers on patrol just after I backed off a bit. Nice feeling to be disciplined that way. I'm driving slower now than before but same enjoyment for me. No point in going all out. Nothing to prove on these roads. I enjoy driving in formation or solo. Doesn't have to be at high speed. Too many cyclists on the road. Motorcyclists too. Came around a bend one Sunday to see a biker down in the lane. Good thing I was going slow. Otherwise I would've had to get heavy on the brakes in the middle of the corner and you know how exciting that is in a P-car.
