Another fun run on some of the best roads in the midwest.

Saturday July 28 assemble in the Steak n Shake parking lot at I-65 and Southport Road on Indy's south side. Be ready to depart from Steak n Shake at 1:00 PM. (note, some north side guys are planning to meet at Menards on 96th st and drive to Southport Road together)

After leaving Indy, we'll head south on 65 to exit #64 Hwy 58 to meet up with drivers from points south, like Ky, Columbus, Cincy, etc...
There is a big Marathon gas station parking lot there to meet up in, fuel, pit stops, etc...

Plan to leave Marathon at 2:00 PM and hit a round about way to Nashville.
We will use some great hilly, winding, smooth, clean roads entirely from Marathon to Nashville. There is a Saturday weekly Cruise-In there in a nice shady part of town with good controlled parking, live music and food.
As Doltmo said, "a good place to see and be seen."

Bring lawn chairs for this part. There also is a nice pizzeria we found on the 7th there to have a bite to eat before heading home.

Also easy walking distance to every shop in Nashville, so feel free to bring your lady friends who may enjoy that kind of shopping.

Finally, I found a Youtube video of "our" stretch of road that the Indy Z Club has also discovered. This gives an idea of the scenery there if you have not been on one of these Brown County runs.

Yep... originally from Columbus went to school in Terre Haute. 46 connects the two and I drove it many times until I hit a deer... then I stuck with the insterstates

This thread makes me miss steak and shake more than anything, though... the closest one is 75 miles away now!
