What did you do to your Aston today?
And then, not Aston Martin-related, I received a large shipment of parts for my other car and couldn't help but laugh that all of this cost less than an OEM carbon fiber V12V grill...
If the guys who made this stuff can have it turn out this great and still turn a profit, I have to wonder about Aston Martin's margins... lol

It's winter here. Time to get to work!

This last weekend road 245 on the way to Sequoia National Park. Amazing! I always assume you can easily go 15 to 20mph over what's posted by some curves but this has a few honest 20mph corners. Blasphemy, but don't know if I'd want a stick on this road as you'd be constantly 2-3-2-3-2-3-2-3-2-3-2-3-2-1-2-3-2-3-2-3........

Love the 2 tone interior. Check out the 2 tone steering wheel. It's super cool.
I thought I would gain some confidence and remove what apparently is the easy header first. LHS. Not too bad. The RHS is suppose to be alot harder. I guess you need to loosen the motor mounts and lift the engine on the RHS. That's what the shop manual says. I also inspected the air filter. Still looks good!

Got the RHS header off. That was interesting! LOL. Kinda a nightmare.
Between the headshield and the EGR pipe. ****! Anyway I am planing to due a EGR delete. Not putting that back in.

With everybody doing fun winter projects this doesn't really fit in the thread, except, I had to do this to my Vantage LOL
Emergency funeral, I always park on the roof, had no time to check the weather report.
20 minutes, no gloves, thin jacket, plowed in, and bald tires on the back!

OK, they still had a 1/2mm of tread left to roast off, I like to use all the rubber they give me before replacing, I just wasn't planning on having to drive it in the snow!
Actually I have lots of tread they're just not on the car LOL
Grabbed these on a buy it now, just sent boxes down so I can have them picked up, they wouldn't ship, but I love the look of the V12 wheels on the V8.

And the next day I chewed up a good foot of my front right wheel so I jumped on ebay again and bought this beautiful set of 5 spokes, the tread just an extra bonus. And my first question was the date code on the tires showed they were 07's so I specifically asked how much dry rot there was, the answer was absolutely none. Well, of course there was a little, so they rebated $300 back, well worth just for the rims.

Those are here but I wanted to put the V12 set on. But only after I changed the pads so just pressed the order button for the Porterfields from Rich. As soon as the dust is gone the rims go on.
