Custom 996tt Intake and Exhaust Cams

Anyone know what lift and duration they are using?

there is some info on Scotts Proto build posts, but this kind of info the builders normally don't share.

I use GT3 exhaust cams only... some think it doesn't make any difference... I totally disagree and think there is a difference and is a worthwhile mod if your in and about that area.

Todd K has the ability to do what ever you want with the cams... the lobe is limited to your heads and the varicam has a magical touch... I love what his intake and exhausts cams do and sound for my car...

I wanted to know if anyone knew what lifts and durations they were using with their particular set up. I understand the GT3 cam housings allow for higher lifts. I also know the maximum lift the 996tt and different GT3 housings will accomodate. I believe most people understand why a GT3 intake cam will not work in a 996tt. The cam housings are really the limiting factor ...... not the heads. I understand how durations between turbo and NA motors should differ. I had designed both my intake and exhaust turbo cams and tappets, non variable lobes, for GT3 housings and had them built from billets. I realize that all this and $2.00 will buy me a cup of coffee.

I really wanted to know if people were running anything other than stock turbo or stock GT3 cam specs. If so, did they know the lift and duration being utilized? As cams go on a turbo motor, bigger or longer doesn't mean better. I was looking for something other than factory specs to compare as I have the factory specs.

I know divexxtreme has used a custom weld/grind on turbo sticks and have shared cams specs with Knighten a long time ago. Is there anyone else out there?

3.8l,GT3 heads and valves machined to accept turbo cam housings and still using variocam.The cams are rewelded/ground turbo cams.Unfortunately I do not have the cam specs(Evoms proprietary).
