Tire HELP

I have been looking at every brand and make trying to find the best tire to fit on my RS4. I am looking to put a wider tire than the stock 255-35-19. I am looking for a 265 or even better a 275 with a 5mm spacer. I am having trouble finding a 19" tire in these sizes. The tire will be used for mostly daily driving with weekend track use. Who has suggestions.....

Tire size calculator says 295/30-19, and you'll be w/in .2% speedo reading!

But the RS4 is AWD and they use the same sizes up front and in the rear, and the 295 wont fit up front. I dont think they will in the back either

That's correct. I wasn't thinking of that!

The Bridgestone Potenza RE01R is an amazing dual purpose street/track tire. It's also priced very reasonably at $265 each from Tire Rack in the 275/30/19 size. It will be ~0.3" shorter diameter overall than the stock tires which won't be very noticeable.

I saw that they make the Yoko and the Bridgstone in 275 30 and 35 profile. Do I need to run the lower profile tire if i go wider?? ANd I think that some one told me that I would need to run a 5mm spacer all around.

Curious..Are you looking for upgrade in handling or just the look of a more aggressive tire? I am an authorized Bridgestone dealer and Bridgestone makes a a 275/30/19 called the Potenza RE760 Sport w/ Uni-T, awesome tire..I have personal experience with these tires and let me tell you they stick! I even ship out..pm for price

You should run the shorter tire size, 275/30/19 since it will give you a little more clearance and better acceleration. You may be able to fit the taller 275/35/19 but it will most likely rub since it's over 1/2" taller than the stock size tire.

Not sure about the spacers... I assume those are for additional clearance from the suspension when you run wider tires on the stock wheels but the cars I've run the 275/30/19 tires on all had aftermarket wheels so no spacers where needed.
