Had an '82 Targa as my daily driver for 11 years. Imported it from Germany under the old "5-year old + once in a lifetime + DOT modifications + non-EPA compliance" rule. Fatally wounded by a '69 Buick Electra with multi-colored fenders. Great car, but it leaked.

Congrats any plans for the car ? Just realized you have been following the old 911 section for months now. Glad you found a car. More pics when you have time.

Dansk makes a great set up for your car and priced fair. If you want to spend less remove the rear main muffler and tuck a small borla or magnaflow muffler up in the drivers side rear wheel well. It will cut down your engine temps and sounds awesome. Just my 2 cents and a good exhaust shop should be able to get this done for $300 or less.

Thanks for the tip. What's the reason that the temps will be lower ? Is the stock muffler very restrictive ?

The stock muffler is massive and runs directly underneath the engine bay and just soaks heat.
