New X-Dash lit & Oil Adapter is in

Wired in the electronic dash this weekend and used the new ECU to run/prime the fuel pumps so I could chase down fuel leaks. Also got the JB Racing 16-AN oil inlet adapter in that I'll use with the 993 filter console.

Here's a pic of the new filter console that replaces the motor mounted oil cooler and a random pic from downunder the motor

Sorry to hear you sold yours, but just now in this depressed mkt it's not too hard to find one that's reasonably priced if you don't mind fixing it up. I bought mine with the motor in boxes, so it was a lot of work, but little to no surprises

New High Torque Starter

The 1st casualty of the high lift cams and stiff valve springs is the OEM starter. It was fully rebuilt and did okay the 1st day, but gave up the ghost quickly.

I've got one of these high torque starters ordered to replace it:

This Rennline Quick Release should discourage the average joy riding type thief

Locking the steering wheel in the trunk is a lot better than locking the steering wheel. Remember "The Club"?

Yep, will try to keep that on the DL

Actually, running the back roads I found that I spent most of the time in 3rd.
75MPH at 3,500rpm in 3rd gear, so I think I'll need an airport runway to air out 4th gear

Well done. The recognition is awesome, but put that eagle in the BACK of the trophy case.
