Demon LMAO
Took you long enough...
1) The Dodge marketing hyperbole bothers many of us, given how far off it seems to be
2) Most all of us appreciate the car, otherwise
3) You came to a Porsche thread, and expect us NOT to be stereotypical Porsche owners
4) I just want to see the damn video!!

1. 10.2 @ 135, no slicks, no skinnys, hot day, amateur driver. I'm sure lot of Porsche owners and media outlets will run sub 7s at the 'Ring because that is more easily obtainable than a 9.65 @ 140mph.

2. Doubtful judging by the comments.
3. I had high hopes.

4. Me too!
No way. That Demon would smoke you! It's the "quickest car ever made", according to Dodge.
. You all spend your time at 1/4 and 1/2 mile events with the best and fastest cars in the country. That just stupid. Get to the strip. You will see the Demon is an instant legend.
No way you guys are just scared. If you would get to a world class drag strip, professionally prepped, DA at 0, Temp at 52-61 degrees, get a professional driver maybe John Force that car would kill you. You are just scared of it

Is that irony or hypocrisy? 🙄
I’ll get a GTS before a Demon, and the wife may decide on a Macan, but the Demon is impressive. Do you rip on the CobraJet, COPO and Drag Pack cars or just the Demon because it’s street legal?

@DodgeMarketing - thanks for being completely disingenuous.
Everything you said to do (100 octane, skinnies, DR's etc) with a good driver with great track prep that gets the front tires to lift off the ground. And it loses to a Tesla and does mid 10's at low 130's. Fastest production car my a**. Better luck next time.

Fastest 1/2 mile run for the Demon was 160 this weekend at shift sector, which is hauling *** and puts it right in line with 25mph pick up from the 1/4 top speed to the 1/2 mile. A very efficient drive train car with about 800whp will pick up around 30mph from your 1/4 mile trap speed.
But its no 140mph 1/4 mile car as stated. I dont really care about the ET because you can get a crappy launches and slow ET's but if you have the horsepower you can still put down big trap speeds.

Dodge claims 9.65@140 and 0-60 in low 2's. That's the issue.
If you care to see what a street car capable of 9.65 / low 2's looks like compared to a P100D look no further than this slaughter:
