Minor issues - anyone else experincing?

Hey guys,

1.
I have roughly 1,300 miles on my 2012 991 Base cabriolet and the Interim Service Now message appears every time I start the car.
I brought it in and they fixed it but now, after a couple weeks of it being fixed the damn thing has reapeared :roll eyes:
Anyone else experience this?

2.
For those of you with Easy Entry and drive.
If you lock your car with your key (not by pushing the handle) and then when you are ready to unlock the car, if you pull the handle and not unlock it via the key, does the alarm sound?

3.
Today for the first time, the car wouldn't lock by pushing the button on the handle. I had to lock and unlock the car several times with the key to get it to work. I saw a message that read "Key not recognized"

I have the same problem No.2 I have 1300 miles on it and the keyless entry for the driver's side door & trunk never worked from day one. I took it in last week and was told that caused by faulty sensor. they said they have to order the sensors

I would definitely take it back in and see if it set a code that's causing the interim service issue.

A friend of mine has problems with the entry and drive also, but I don't have it.

I have the keyless options too and it has worked great so far.

However, I just got the interm.. service message too. I really don't want to take it to the dealer if possible. Any way to dismiss it somehow?

If your key and cell phone are in the same hand or pocket, the phone might interfere so always keep them apart. I learned with happens with my Bentleys.

Twice I set off the alarm by using the keyless entry. It was a little embarrassing, and I had to lock and unlock the car with the key mechanism (remote).

Since then I have trouble trusting the keyless entry and tend to unlock the car with the remote.

If you unlock by pulling on the handle, sometimes you get it open too quickly, before the alarm is disarmed.

A more reliable way is to unlock by pushing the black button, then pulling the handle.

Had mine for some time and can say I've only had a few instances where the car did not lock when using the button on the handle. I haven't encountered any of the other issues. Had mine since Feb 2012.

Now I do have some rattles...
