Nice!! It's addicting. It will probably end up being the first thing you think about every time you get in your car!! I'm pretty sure it's my ALL-TIME Favorite sound.

Can you clarify one point please.
In a previous thread about retro-fitting PSE, someone stated that if it is a retrofit then it will be "a lot more work" if you want a switch.
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...it-doable.html

This sounded a little odd seeing that these cars are wired for the PSE option.

I presume you have the switch on your center console.

Well it is a lot more work. The dealer quoted me a price and discovered that it underestimated the scope of the project. The base 991 is not prewired so the driver seat, rear seat and back were removed. Wiring installed from tranny tunnel to the valves. A lot of work over two days. The dealer manned up and did the work for the 5.5 hour quoted price and did not even suggest that I pay the difference.

As I have said in previous posts this is a really good dealer. It's Porsche of Delaware

Haha your reaction makes me want to do the same. Perhaps when I start getting tired of the car I'll spice things up with PSE!

Congratulations! Well done. Agree with all the other comments.

My biggest problem with the PSE is this: how can I get everyone to understand that I'm not trying to show off but that I'm simply enjoying the sound, at a very innocent level, if you will? My wife hates me when I drive in the neighborhood in Sport mode with PSE on...

I think that I have now succeeded in destabilizing every concrete overpass in a 10 mile distance from my home. ....approach overpass, engage PSE, throttle up window down......repeat...repeat...repeat....
