I decided to attend my first PCA event, now that the car is run in. So the experience was fun, especially the skid pan. Definitely want more time on the track but ran out of gas - holy smokes - less than 8 mpg.
Now I should state that I have a C4S with 7MT. It was sooooo much fun but i can see the allure of the PDK for the track. I did have an issue though with the clutch pedal being stuck on the floor momentarily - I will be going back to the dealer to check it out for me. Maybe I tried to apply too many revs to take off... It was odd that a C2 991 7MT had the same issue. Also, my brake wear on the rears is unusually high according to tech inspection and the wear is uneven - interested to hear thoughts on that.
Other than that it was great fun and I will be going to the track more often. Oh and I did clip one of the cones on the slalom and left a scratch mark on the passenger side door, nothing too serious and a good polish would sort out...

Were you running in normal, sport, sport + or PSM off?
I run in Sport + or PSM off and the rear wear is pretty even. Also found the car to be very easy on tires at the track with even the stock alignment.

Funny you say that... There was actually deer and in fact one of the cars got hit! Not fun...
Thanks Serge... The rear break wear was prior to the event. So I am not sure what is going on. The tech inspector said that it was like one of the calipers was stuck.

It happens all the time there. On the headlights, the rock damage can or was sometimes brutal. When I go up there now, I use someone else's car.
Tires were good and I was running in Sport+ for most of the time. Apart from the skid pan - PSM was off and no need for Sport+.
Both are independent of each other... Sport+ is improved throttle response and rev matching on the MT. PSM is effectively traction control.

Tape of those headlights and watch out for deer.
