Video Panamera video review

I know this is the 911 911 section but I am seeing how the other half live with a Panamera at the moment so I thought I would share the experience with you guys.

Enjoy!

Nick

Great review. I think I share similar disdain for the Panamera, but I also hate the CLS, S7, 6 series. Obviously some people like the fastback look, but in my opinion they all look the same ugly.

Oh what about the BMW 535i Gran Turismo? There is a guy that has one that passes my on the highway in the morning driving like an idiot. I want to ram him just so I can let him know his car is butt ugly : )

ADZ is infamous around these parts
It's funny how I used to hate it but ended up buying one (a 4S). Loved it.

The only reason for selling is I traded it in for the 991S

Grim times for my 911, window and mirror problems remain and now there is a burning electrical smell coming from the dash as well as the screens go blank when I go over a bump.

Might be time for Porsche to step up and replace that poor car.

Nicely done video.

As for the Panamera.. meh... just another big sedan that I'd not give a second glance on the highway..

Nick - another well done and very informative video. So sorry to hear about your car! I hope the dealer can figure out what the problems are so that it can be fixed and placed back in your hands.

I can understand your bias toward your 991 it's an awesome car. However, personally owning a 640i Gran Coupe I could degree with you more. I agree the Panamera is one BUTT ugly car but the new generation 6 series is one of the most beautiful cars on the road today. As far as the S7 and CLS I didn't pick the 6 series GC by accident.

I enjoy your videos. However I am surprised how many times your 991 has been in the dealer for what I assume is warranty work. Must be extremely frustrating for you.

Not sure if your state has a Lemon Law (we do in CA) but for as many times you have brought in your car you would have one of two choices in CA by now. P of NA pay you a fair retail value for your car or simply replace it with a new one. I experience a similar situation with a 3 year old E320 estate wagon a number of years ago. What I found to be a key is to have your Service Manager be your advocate on your behalf with P of NA. We ended up taking what I would say was a very good cash out settlement with MBUSA and ended up purchasing a new at the time 2007 Q7 in late 2006. We still own that car and in fact it is back East in your neck of the woods protecting my daughter attending school near by from this years harsh winter.

My 991 is nice for playing around on weekends but my S7 is twice the car as far as quality and technology is concerned.
