I'm in Love!!..out with the S63 in with the C4S
My slightly used Blk/blk 2014 C4S was delivered last Thursday and I have already driven it 250 miles. Wow!.. I am so impressed and so happy that I decided after months of debate to go with a very low mileage 991 vs a 2011 Turbo S.. Its been a while since I have been on this forum and even longer since my last Porsche. In 2006 I bought a low mileage 2005 Turbo S cab and sold it 18 months later. Great car but this car is leagues above that one. I was able to locate a car with all the "must have" options except PSE. PDK, Sport Chrono, Leather, PDCC, PDLS, Adaptive Sport Seats plus 18 way, Rear Camera, Park Assist, Glass Sunroof, Sport Design Steering wheel.. I sold the S63 the end of last year and although I loved that car as a daily driver it never satisfied my "desire to drive" I never felt like accelerating hard out of a corner or out of the Toll booth etc. Nor did I ever look at the "*** end" of it in the garage and want to drop what I was doing and go for a drive. Not once. Yes it has only been a few days but several early observations.. the build quality is second to none. The note of the standard exhaust is intoxicating.. I frkn love it.. Is it really that much better with the PSE?? pricing out aftermarket PSE install but not sure I want it now.. Loving the PDK.. I made a little promise to myself to use PDK 98% of the time (because its fun) and also because its keeps that damn Cell phone out of my hands.. ughhh.. The power is smooth throughout.. (fishing line tug threads had me losing sleep and sadly I know Im not out of the woods yet.. double ughh). Car feels like its on rails.
Lets talk about the intangibles now... Kids love it.. Dads car is sooo cool, girlfriend prefers over the 2015 Z06 I was seriously considering. After spending 4 years chauffeuring my 3 kids around to various Lacrosse, Soccer, BBall, football practices and games in a 2010 VW GTI weekend car its not about image for me. Having said that, I feels good to pull up to Starbucks or drop my son off at practice in a classy, fun to drive sporty daily driver. Like I said.... its early and maybe its the honeymoon phase but Im loving this car!. Good to be back on the forum.

Congrats! The PSE is that much better, get it... Or, if you're an aftermarket guy go with the AWE Switchpath. I like having the ability to close the valves with the PSE, but 95% of the time, those valves are open. Now that is intoxicating!
If you install PSE, check out my thread on the parts needed. Including parts and installation, my total came to about $2k.
