Escort 9500ci vs Valentine One radar video review
SubscribeI have done a wee video review on the Escort 9500ci installed in my car and compared it to our old favorite the Valentine One.
Hopefully useful to any of you considering installing the 9500 in your 911 as I did with mine.
Thanks
Nick

Very nice review nick, also very timely for me as I'm in the middle of an install at the moment myself.
A couple of comments about the 9500ci as compared to the Beltronics STiR Plus: I think you mentioned they are essentially the same unit, except that the display on the STiR is red and it can be purchased without the laser jammers.
One important benefit of the STiR over the 9500ci is that the STiR has Ka Band segmentation which in some cases can help performance and potentially missed alerts.
The other thing that has been pointed out is that the jammers that work with the STiR and 9500ci aren't exactly the best against the latest LIDAR guns.. So for the best LIDAR protection, there are better solutions (the consensus and shootouts seems to be ALP is the state of the art at the moment) So since the shifters are an option with the STiR you don't incur that cost if you go with another non-integrated solution..
Great work.. and your demo/explanations helped me understand some of the features I hadn't quite figured out yet.

32:51? OMG Nick, some of us can't spend 30 minutes at work watching a video!
Thanks for the effort.

Nick where have you seen a good deal on these lately?
As always, great stuff Nick!
I'm running an escort redline and...it's saved me many times.
I would love to have the GPS/learning feature to eliminate redundant false positives.
I'll certainly consider the 9500 when i purchase my next car.
