991 X51 Power Kit

Has anyone retro fitted the X51 power kit to their 991?

If so did it make much of a difference to performance?

How much was the labor cost to fit the kit?

Was it a worth while upgrade?

I LOVE my Powerkit! I previously owned a non-power kit 991S and I can definitely feel a difference at higher RPMs. Plus the exhaust growl seems deeper, too.

That being said, I would not spend the $$$ to retrofit if I didn't have it already on my car.

In Canada we pay $16,000 for 50 hp, 20" wheels and uprated brakes.

This is on top of the 991.1S's 400 hp. You already have the 50hp, 20" wheels, and upgraded brakes in the S to start with.

I won't argue the value of it (I have already said that I wouldn't have paid for it to be added on) but I am very happy that I do have the Powerkit....

Right. I was just saying that $17,000 to add X51 isn't so outrageous when you consider the cost to add 50 hp to a 991.2. I don't think I'd be adding the kit aftermarket though but might have ticked the option if I was ordering
