Porsche battery tender
Porsche battery tender
I hooked up my 992 to the Porsche battery tender. Powered it on with the ignition in the on position. Set the maintainer to lithium ion mode, and the battery climbed from 1/4 to full on the charge meter indicators. So it was working like a charm.
Went out to the garage this morning and the battery icons were no longer lit up. However, the power light was on and solid green.
My question: does the battery tender turn off the charge on its own?
I hit the mode button to set it back to lithium ion and then the battery indicators lit back up again.
Makes me wonder if it’s shutting the trickler off once it’s at the full battery icon?

Answer- yes it does. Its a battery Monitor. After full charge it goes into monitor mode so not to over charge and will go back on if needed.

So this is normal after the battery full indicator was maxed? Even the Li-Ion logo isn’t lit up anymore. It automatically changed to this after a couple days

May I humbly suggest you read the directions that came with your Trickle Charger? They explain exactly how it works. That said, this Forum is for all manner of questions - I know all questions are good - "One Team - One Fight" , as the Army used to say 30 yrs ago......

May I humbly suggest you just not respond to threads if you have nothing constructive to offer.
I read the manual.
Maybe if you read the manual as well, you’d know that there is no answer to the question I asked.
I humbly suggest you read the manual since you obviously haven’t.
