Gt3 Thoughts
Some initial thoughts
The Sound, it has is intoxicating. It's music to my ears and every time I drive it I am just amazed on why all Porsche's don't sound this good. The best part about it is that it's all engine. In order to get to the real power band you have to wind it all the way to 8500 rpms. It almost reminds of my old Acura integra GSR. The steering is much quicker and more precise than my TT, steering also feels much lighter. The car handles awesome. It feel's very nimble and I feel much more comfortable pushing it to the limits than my TT. My TT has 600lbs of torque and can be pretty hairy sometimes. The Pilot's that it comes with are awesome in fact some of the best tires I have ever had. In Florida we don't have a lot of twistie's so I am sure that in the canyons of CA or the windy country roads that I used to have in NY, the car could be driven much more to it's potential. I find the throws to be very long but that can be easily remedied with a Short shifter. I have opened it up a couple times, once taking it up to 130mph. I found the front end to feel a little light and not nearly as stable as my TT feels. During Gumball we cruised at 160mph for an extended period of time and the car was rock solid. When it comes down to it as much as the Gt3 is a blast to drive, if I could own only one it would be a very easy decision. The TT is just hands down the best car I have ever owned. Every time I drive it I am just amazed. I would miss the "torque", and the raw power that the TT has me hooked. If there is anyone considering going from a TT to a Gt3 I strongly advise spending some decent seat time in the GT3.

Great write up Duane! Since no dealers are allowing
I'm on the fence about the GT3. I have an order on one, but everytime I think about it, I think about TORQUE. And that is something the TT has plenty of...
Are you planning on keeping both?

I wish there was a way to make the TT sound like the GT3!!! I heard at the dealer here in Boston and offered to buy it if they give me a good deal on trade but they were looking for over MSRP!
