2009 One Lap times
Porsche 996 GT2 on Michelin PS2's street tires
3 lap standing start of 7:00 flat for a 2:20 lap avg. Timing Lights
Fastest lap by video was a 2:18.7 sec.
Going back with Chin on the June 13th with Hoosier slicks should be alittle faster.

Peter I race at Sebring all the time, would love to see and race with you!! we turn about the same times cant make that Chin event (almost always do but car alittle busted up) will be there end of month for the PCA to shake the car down then PBOC race there in July, what say you?

cant believe those times on street tires!!!! you should be sub 2:15 with proper tires and alignment, for those that dont know that is Cup car fast!!!

I wish that was my times. That is Ian driving and he knows how to get a Porsche around the track. I expect I will be lucky to get much below a 2:30 on street tires.
Matts car is awesome, much easier to drive than my 996GT3.

Peter, that video was awesome, thanks for posting it! Wow, whoever this Ian guy is, he can really wheel the car around the track! Now go and invest in a $10 wind deflector so I can really listen to the motor next time out!!!

2:05 this past weekend at VIR, Traqmate and on Hoosiers... Brother said he got me at a 2:04 but this was by hand, best was a 2:12 on the toyos with me sliding around every corner, swapped to hoosiers picked up 7 seconds.. I'll post video footage soon, even though my gopro camera is a POS with video quality/sound and framing :/
