Actually, that was a lap during the open test day.
We qualified at a 1:19.7 that weekend.
The car runs a 3.8 motor.

Great job, Martin! But I don't think the R888s suck at all. Compared to Hoosiers, yes. But compared to PSCs? No way!

I got a 2:08 on R888s, with an instructor in the car.

However, I have to be clear, times drop, like everywhere, with more track time. VIR is all I used to run. Your time and line is great! You've got more time in those laps to go. Great car control.

1:27 at Thunderbolt this past weekend (once and a 1:28) all on my 2nd session of day 2, then it was all downhill with my hoosiers... and consistent 1:30's! Same R6's from VIR, had probably 12 heat cycles on them at that point then they just dropped off after cording fronts at 14 :/

Yea, I was stock except pads and hoosiers, unlike you who was stock everything, and you where still flyin'! Looking at the segment breakout and TRB the car is capable of a mid 2:05 with me driving, just need to get more consistent.

Fun runnin' with you ... glad you didn't have pads and hoosiers, otherwise I would have never kept up.

So, is this a real place to get a comparison from 997.1 and 997.2? Can we get feedback on that?

Great Job Ryan! You are steadily and consistently improving all the time. List updated.

I need to get back to VIR before I get too far down the list, this time on some fresh tires.

997.2 definitely pulls better. Matt and I both came out of oak tree at the same exit speed because we were stuck behind another car. Right before the brake zone he had pulled about 4-5 car lengths on me!

I'm jealous of you guys on the east coast. You can get to VIR and several other tracks so much easier than us poor souls in MN.

That's why I love this area so much. We have a LOT of tracks in the near area and more on the way. I think it's the best place to live if you like to track. Easy Drive Road Atlanta - 10 min Barber 1.5 hrs Talladega GP 1:15 VIR 4.5 hrs CMP 3.5 hrs Roebling 2.5 hrs Lowes Roval 3 hrs Little Longer Daytona 7 hrs Bluegrass 6.6 hrs Coming: Altanta Motorsports Park (maybe) 45 min High Rock (If the investors take over) 3 hrs And most of them are almost year round with the main dead period being from 1 week into December with an event here and there in January,Feb and full blast by March.
